about Southwest Executive Hangars

The new Southwest Executive Hangars will be a state-of-the-art aircraft storage and aviation business development. There will be 2 buildings containing over 75,000 square feet of hangarage configured in a broad range of sizes and options.

Building A is designed to meet the needs of corporate aviation departments, aviation-related businesses, and individuals who own larger aircraft. This building will contain six 60'x 60' Box Hangars, and four 70'x 60' Box Hangars. Two of the 70' Hangars will have a 20'x 50' office attached, which may be purchased as an option or sold seperately. Each hangar will have an individually metered 150-amp electrical service, and plumbing available to build out an office, crew quarters, or private restrooms on one or two levels. Ceiling heights will allow a mezzanine to be constructed across the rear and/or perimeter of the unit to conserve floor space.

Building B will contain eight Box Hangars with dimensions of 50'x 40', and nine units measuring 40'x 40'. These units will feature individual 100-amp electrical service and plumbing stubbed for future build-outs. Users of the Building B units could include individuals, small businesses, flight schools, kit plane builders, or flying clubs. As with the larger units, you could construct a mezzanine to house your storage or office areas.

Building B will also house the Lazy Eights Lounge, our members-only clubhouse. It will feature a kitchen, bar, dining area, TV area with satellite TV and video library, flight planning room with computers and printer, conference room, restrooms with showers, and a game area with a pool table and ping pong table. You may reserve the clubhouse for private parties, corporate meetings, and more for only a cleaning charge!

All buildings will feature the innovative Hydro-Swing door system with remote-controlled entry. This will allow you to open your hangar from the comfort of your car or airplane even in rainy conditions. These doors cost more than traditional bi-fold hangar doors, but their strength and reliability far exceed any alternative.
